John Healy has joined the No Borders Team, as of April 2008, after 25 years learning his profession in and around the Brisbane area. Although John admits that to be a great lawyer one must never cease their learning process.

After graduating from the Queensland University of Technology in 1982 John was admitted as a solicitor in 1984. After working for various city law firms John established his own legal practice in 1997. Since that time he has worked mainly in the areas of Business Law, Conveyancing, Family Law and Wills & Estates.

John now returns to the cafes and buzz that is Park Road Milton after once working for the legal firm of ‘Anderson & Bone’, located in Park Road, from 1992-1994.

In 1997 John achieved the rare opportunity of appearing in the High Court when an opposing litigant appealed to every higher court after losing in the Planning and Environment Court. For the record John recorded a victory that day, a memory that is held high in John’s career to date.

As No Borders was solely a Migration firm, clients were faced with consulting another firm when non-migration legal issues arose. Now with the experience and skills of John Healy; No Borders Legal Advocates can assist with other legal matters.

It is envisaged that No Borders Legal Advocates will expand into other areas of law if there is sufficient demand and need from clients for such additional expertise.
